A forward-thinking veterinary practice in Dublin is seeking a highly experienced and motivated Lead Veterinary Surgeon to drive its team's professional growth.
Key Responsibilities- Guide, mentor and support the clinic team with a positive attitude, fostering collaboration and development.
- Represent the practice as an ambassador, demonstrating integrity, inclusivity and commitment to high standards.
- Ensure effective communication across the team through regular meetings and feedback, while working collaboratively with other functions.
- Promote equality, diversity and inclusion within the workplace culture.
- Act as the designated point of contact for PAS Accreditation, ensuring compliance with VCI COS regulations.
- Demonstrate strong clinical judgement, promoting best practice and supporting vets in their professional development.
- Oversee clinical compliance with established protocols and initiatives.
- Work closely with the Regional Director to develop and implement the practice's annual business plan.
- Take ownership of achieving financial, quality, client satisfaction and team engagement targets.
- Lead on operational compliance, team engagement and retention by fostering a supportive and feedback-driven culture.
- Hold MVB or equivalent qualification, with membership of the Veterinary Council of Ireland.
- Proven experience in both clinical practice and team leadership roles.
- Professional, approachable and highly motivated individual.
- Trustworthy with a strong work ethic.
