Key Responsibilities- Prepare Patients: Obtain vital signs, gather health information, and update patient records.
- Perform Laboratory Procedures: Conduct strep tests, wound cultures, specimen collection, and other lab procedures using aseptic technique and standard precautions.
- Support Medical Staff: Assist physicians and advanced practice professionals with procedures such as pelvic exams, allergy testing, EMG, cautery, colposcopy, and more.
- Administer Medications: Administer routine medications under physician orders or approved standing orders.
- Communicate Effectively: Communicate effectively with patients, healthcare teams, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth clinic operations.
