Job Title: Senior Audit Manager

Role Overview:
  • Manage a portfolio of clients and carry out work to a high technical standard in a commercially beneficial manner.
  • Lead a dedicated team, including managing, organizing, and deploying staff on assignments as necessary.
  • Formulate the strategic direction of the Financial Services team internally in terms of quality and standards and externally in terms of market direction for the team.

We are seeking an ambitious and diligent Senior Manager in our Financial Services Team with a focus on banking, capital markets, assets management, and aircraft leasing clients. The position will offer you excellent advancement opportunities working with a diverse range of high-profile financial institutions.

Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and manage a portfolio of FS clients.
  2. Assist partners and directors in business development activities.
  3. Control the financial aspects of a client portfolio, including budgeting, negotiating, billing, and recovery.
  4. Build and maintain strong relationships across the firm and assist and collaborate with different business areas.
  5. Effectively plan and resource staff on assignments.
  6. Promote the firm's values and beliefs, demonstrating integrity and maintaining an ethical stance.
  7. Communicate team goals with clarity and set clear objectives for team members that are aligned to business plans.
  8. Recruit, promote, and develop talent within the team.
  9. Maintain and apply up-to-date knowledge of the firm's risk management policies and operational procedures.
  10. Ensure client expectations and issues are understood, developing collaborative relationships.
  11. Contribute to learning & development and coaching of junior staff.
Requirements:
  • Qualified accountant with relevant FS audit experience in a Big 4/Top 10 practice environment (minimum 4 years PQE).
  • Role model within the team, setting high standards of quality and demonstrating commitment to self-development.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organisational and project management capabilities.
  • Thorough understanding and technical proficiency in IFRS.
  • Fluent English with excellent oral and written communication skills.
