Are you passionate about delivering high-quality laboratory services? Do you have a strong background in histology and a desire to work in a fast-paced environment?

We are seeking an experienced Medical Scientist to join our team. As a key member of our laboratory department, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the delivery of an effective and efficient service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in routine processing and co-ordination of the Laboratory service
  • Perform scientific work to required INAB and JCI Accreditation Standards
  • Prioritise and organise work during busy periods and co-ordinate multiple concurrent testing
  • Co-operate with relevant staff in new ideas and technologies

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Membership or eligibility for membership of the Academy of Clinical Science and Laboratory Medicine (ACSLM) / CORU or equivalent
  • Minimum 1 year in-service training across all disciplines
  • Experience in Histology essential
