Automation Engineering Position

In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the performance of automation systems to ensure maximum uptime and optimal results. Your tasks will include managing system user access, backups, and restores, implementing corrective actions, collaborating with vendors, identifying and executing projects to enhance system performance, contributing to capital planning and project execution, ensuring compliance with quality systems, creating and maintaining engineering deliverables, developing and implementing global automation strategies, maintaining and optimizing automation systems and infrastructure, developing solutions tailored to manufacturing environments, driving automation projects to meet cost, schedule, and technical goals, and staying updated with technology trends.


Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Degree in engineering (automation, robotics, computer science, etc.) or equivalent
  • Minimum 5 years of work experience in GMP manufacturing with expertise in automation
  • Broad understanding of pharmaceutical manufacturing processes and regulatory environments
  • Proficiency in automation solutions (Siemens, Omron, Mitsubishi, etc.)
  • Knowledge of industry standards (GAMP, ANSI/ISA, 21 CFR Part 11, Annex 11) and GxP/QA
