Job Opportunity

The role of Lead Solution Architect is a pivotal position in the Global Technology Engineering & Enterprise Architecture team.

This position requires a highly skilled and experienced individual to join our newly formed strategic cutting-edge Innovation Center and Business & Client Service teams.

  • Provide technical leadership ensuring the best approaches are being leveraged, always looking for new technologies or techniques to drive excellence and accelerate development.
  • Develop the overall architecture of applications and shared components, incorporating reuse, standardisation and security-by-design into solution designs to simplify, secure and accelerate technology delivery.
  • Ensure alignment with Enterprise Technical Strategy and Standards, working with agile teams to ensure implementation aligns with design.

This role involves providing technical leadership for numerous agile dev teams, partnering with Technical Leaders across Innovation and the Business, and leveraging strategic or emerging technologies.

Requirements:
  • Passion for technology and staying up-to-date with the latest advancements
  • 5+ years' Application or Solution Architecture experience designing cloud-based applications and microservices
  • Master's degree in computer science, Information Technology or similar working experience
  • Extensive software development experience (Node, Python, .Net, Mongo, SQL, React, Angular, Kubernetes, Serverless)
  • Strong foundation in Cloud core concepts and Modern Development approaches
