Welding Cell Operator and Programmer

Our manufacturing team is seeking a skilled Welding Cell Operator and Programmer to join our production team. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up and operating robotic MIG welding cells to meet production output targets.

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Setting up and operating robotic MIG welding cells to ensure parts are manufactured in accordance with production output targets.
  • Adjusting and programming the welding cell to specification as required.
  • Providing training and support to new operators, troubleshooting and repairing robotic welding equipment as needed.
  • Recommending design changes to improve quality, reliability, and productivity of welding processes.

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Experience with MIG welding processes.
  • A knowledge of manufacturing and mechanical engineering principles.
  • Desirable skills include experience with robotic applications and relevant qualifications or certifications.
