
Principal Urban Planner Position

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Assistant Town Planner to join our team. In this role, you will play a key part in assisting with the preparation and coordination of planning applications and appeals.
Key responsibilities include producing high-quality reports, planning statements, and supporting documentation. You will also undertake planning research and site appraisals, liaising with clients, consultants, and local authorities throughout the planning process.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
- Conduct thorough site appraisals and gather relevant data for planning applications.
- Collaborate with internal teams to deliver integrated planning solutions.
To succeed in this role, you will require:
Requirements- A RTPI-accredited degree in Town Planning or a related field.
- Minimum 1 year's experience in a planning role (public or private sector).
- Excellent report writing skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
