Job Description

We are seeking a Compliance Risk Specialist to join our team. This role will be responsible for ensuring the organization's compliance with all relevant laws and regulations, identifying and mitigating potential risks, and implementing effective controls to prevent non-compliance.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of regulatory requirements, particularly in the payments and e-money sectors, and experience in developing and maintaining compliance policies and procedures.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and implementing compliance programs to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements;
  • Conducting risk assessments to identify potential areas of non-compliance;
  • Maintaining relationships with regulatory bodies and staying up-to-date on changes to laws and regulations;
  • Collaborating with internal stakeholders to ensure compliance with organizational policies and procedures;

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in law, finance, or a related field;
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in compliance or a related field, including experience in the payments/e-money sector;
  • Strong knowledge of EU payment and e-money regulations, financial crime regulations, including AML and Financial Sanctions;
  • CAMS-certification or Professional Diploma in Compliance (LCI) is an advantage;
