Quality Assurance Professional

We are seeking a detail-oriented individual to support quality assurance and control activities on a live roofing and cladding project in Tipperary.

This role involves implementing and maintaining the project's Quality Management System (QMS), conducting inspections, and supporting quality documentation preparation. The ideal candidate will have a relevant qualification in construction or engineering, experience in quality assurance/control, and familiarity with roofing and cladding systems.

The successful candidate will also possess strong attention to detail, good organizational skills, effective communication, and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Implement and maintain the project's Quality Management System (QMS).
  • Conduct routine inspections of roofing and cladding installations to ensure compliance with specifications and standards.
  • Support the preparation and review of quality documentation, including Inspection Test Plans (ITPs) and Method Statements.
  • Liaise with site supervisors, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure quality standards are understood and met.
  • Maintain accurate records of inspections, tests, and quality-related activities.

Requirements:

  • Relevant qualification in construction, engineering, or a related field (degree or diploma).
  • Some experience or exposure to quality assurance/control in construction (internship or site experience preferred).
  • Familiarity with roofing and cladding systems is an advantage.
  • Strong attention to detail and good organizational skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
