- Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations, conducting in-depth research on complex tax issues.
- Collaborate with external auditors during tax-related audits, reviewing findings and implementing corrective actions.
- Identify and mitigate potential tax risks, implementing internal controls to ensure data accuracy.
- Utilize tax software and technology tools for efficient tax compliance and planning.
- Train and develop other team members.
- Maintain organized tax files and documentation, ensuring compliance with recordkeeping requirements.
- Bachelor's degree with relevant qualification along with Chartered Tax Advisor or similar qualification is essential.
- 5 years of experience in tax accounting.
- Strong understanding of tax laws, regulations, and accounting principles.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
- Proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Office applications.
