Job Position: Senior Quantity Surveyor
We are seeking an accomplished and skilled professional to assume a leading role in our construction team in the Galway region. As a key member, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of the business.
Main Responsibilities:
- Drive surveying teams in the execution of daily tasks on contracts
- Manage the complete quantity surveying function, encompassing valuations, variations, and final accounts
- Ensure optimal contract profitability and protection of commercial interests
- Promote and enhance the profile of the quantity surveying function within the region
- Foster and develop the skills of all related surveying personnel through recruitment, training, and motivation
- Maintain a positive working environment on site and in the office
- Comply with Health, Safety, and Welfare management systems
Qualifications and Experience:
- Degree in Quantity Surveying
- A minimum of 8 years' experience as a QS, including leadership of other Quantity Surveyors
