Reperio Human Capital seeks a Senior Data Engineer to support key data and analytics initiatives on a 12-month rolling contract.

About the Role

This role focuses on building scalable, cloud-based data solutions and delivering meaningful insights across the business.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience in data engineering within cloud-focused environments and strong skills in Python, PySpark, and SQL.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain robust data pipelines using Databricks, Python, and PySpark
  • Work across cloud and on-premises environments, including Snowflake and object storage
  • Integrate data from various sources, including APIs and flat files
  • Improve and streamline existing SQL logic, views, and stored procedures
  • Partner with business teams to build reports and dashboards using Power BI
Requirements
  • Proven experience in data engineering within cloud-focused environments
  • Strong skills in Python, PySpark, and SQL
  • Hands-on experience with Databricks, Snowflake, and cloud platforms (AWS or Azure)
  • Solid understanding of data modelling techniques
  • Strong communication skills and experience working with business stakeholders
Desirable
  • Background in Scaled Agile (SAFe) methodologies
  • Experience mentoring or guiding junior engineers
