About the Role:

  • This position is for registered staff to join a community group supporting 7 individuals with varying degrees of intellectual disability, mental health concerns and physical health issues.
  • The ideal candidate will be available to work both days and nights on a rotational basis as the service is staffed 24/7 by a mix of Healthcare Assistants (HCAs) and Support Nurses (SN).
  • A key responsibility of this role is to carry out care planning and assessments in line with HIQA standards.
  • Prior experience working in a similar residential service would be an advantage although training will be provided where necessary.
  • This opportunity offers the chance to make a positive impact in the lives of vulnerable individuals.

Key Requirements:

  • Registration as a healthcare professional
  • Ability to work rotating shifts including days and nights
  • Experience working with individuals with intellectual disabilities, mental health concerns and physical health issues
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
