Senior Research Ethnographer

This position is an excellent opportunity to engage in ethnographic research with stakeholders in Cork City, exploring issues related to retrofitting social housing.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will lead ethnographic work, collaborate with project participants and stakeholders, and contribute to various outputs, including peer-reviewed journals and conference presentations. They will also supervise undergraduate and postgraduate students in Anthropology, carry out teaching-related tasks, and participate in research lab activities.
Responsibilities- Plan and lead ethnographic work with project participants and stakeholders in Cork City
- Conduct research, teaching, supervision, and administration, as well as training and career development opportunities
- Publish independently and in collaboration with the research lab in relevant peer-reviewed journals
- Initiate and organise activities with the Lab, including conferences, seminars, webinars, and other relevant events
- Collaborate with the project's advisory board
- Supervise undergraduate and postgraduate students in Anthropology
- Carry out teaching-related tasks at undergraduate and postgraduate levels in Anthropology
