We are seeking a skilled Financial Risk Manager to join our Finance team in a fast-paced environment.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Manage financial risk opposite Retail Partners while advising, coaching, and mentoring them on all financial aspects of their business.
  • Prepare and evaluate business cases, communicating outputs clearly to senior management.
  • Work on divestments and acquisitions, demonstrating project management from start to finish.
  • Collaborate with the Business Development Team to assess potential new business and attend the Regional Business Development Forum as required.
  • Support the Credit Manager and in-house legal counsel to ensure governance of financial risk and proper legal documentation where required.
Key Qualifications:
  • Qualified accountant with a minimum of 4 years post-qualification experience (corporate finance background is advantageous).
  • Positive, team-oriented attitude.
  • Highly numeric and analytical with strong systems orientation, including Microsoft Excel.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence at a senior level.
  • Interest in working in a fast-paced, client-facing, commercial role.
  • Experience in the FMCG/Retail industry is advantageous.
  • Full driving license.
