Support Worker Needed in Dundalk

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate support worker to join our team in Dundalk, Co. Louth.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work with individuals with disabilities and make a real difference in their lives.

  • Staff nurse: ID trained, experience with Behaviours of concern, autism and dementia.
  • Must have full drivers license and be willing to drive house vehicles.
  • The working hours required are 24-36 hours a week.
  • This is a short-term contract for approximately 3 to 6 months.
Key Responsibilities

As a support worker, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to our service users. This includes:

  • Assisting with daily living tasks such as personal care, medication management, and meal preparation.
  • Providing emotional support and companionship to our service users.
  • Encouraging and enabling service users to participate in activities that promote independence and well-being.
  • Working collaboratively with other members of the team to ensure seamless care delivery.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A valid driver's license.
  • Experience working with individuals with disabilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A flexible and adaptable approach to work.
