Main Responsibilities
  1. Drive sales growth and exceed targets
  2. Maintain accurate records of stock levels and manage inventory effectively
  3. Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of all products and departments
  4. Provide exceptional customer service, addressing queries and concerns promptly and professionally
  5. Maintain a clean and organized store environment, adhering to company standards
  6. Collaborate with the Store Manager to achieve business objectives and drive sales growth
  7. Conduct regular stock takes, identifying any discrepancies and reporting to the Store Manager
  8. Manage staffing levels to meet business needs, ensuring adequate coverage during peak periods
  9. Implement and monitor daily task lists, prioritizing tasks to optimize productivity
  10. Enhance team knowledge of top-selling items and departmental stock loss
  11. Support the Store Manager in managing staff performance, providing coaching and development opportunities
  12. Oversee cash handling, security, and conduct regular spot checks on tills
  13. Adhere to company cash handling and stock procedures at all times
  14. Take ownership of opening and closing the store
