Role Overview
The successful candidate will have a strong background in accounting and finance, with 5-8 years of experience in a similar role. The ideal candidate will be able to lead the Ireland-based Accounting functions, define an effective controllership framework, and work closely with senior leadership to shape the financial strategy for Rippling International. In this role, you will also have overall responsibility for the management accounts for Rippling Ireland, including profit & loss, cashflow, and balance sheets.

Duties and Responsibilities
  1. Manage critical financial and treasury processes, including overseeing cash flows, liquidity management, forecasting, safeguarding, and compliance with regulatory capital requirements;
  2. Lead the Ireland-based Accounting functions, defining an effective controllership framework consistent with Rippling Group standards;
  3. Maximise resource use to ensure ongoing business model viability;
  4. Develop and execute cash management strategies to optimise funding and treasury operations;
  5. Develop and implement appropriate policies and procedures for the function;
  6. Identify and oversee financial controls and adherence to financial procedures, carrying out regular reviews to ensure they remain effective;

Requirements and Qualifications
  1. 5-8 years experience in a similar role;
  2. Experience delivering reports to senior stakeholders is essential;
  3. Engages and communicates effectively with colleagues, investors, customers, suppliers, regulators, and other internal and external stakeholders;
  4. Track-record of ensuring effective compliance and control and responding to regulatory developments, including financial reporting, capital requirements, and corporate responsibility;
  5. Strong attention to detail, ability to work in a complex global organisational environment;
  6. Ability to work with multiple deadlines under pressure;
  7. Startup mindset – comfortable working in a highly dynamic environment.
