Job Overview:

This is an exciting opportunity for a Support Worker to make a positive impact on the lives of our service users. You will work as part of a supportive team to provide person-centred care and support to individuals with intellectual disabilities in a residential setting.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Support service users to develop daily living skills through practical activities
  2. Establish and maintain positive relationships with service users
  3. Engage in activities and complete household tasks
  4. Keep accurate records of service user documentation
  5. Perform other tasks as required as part of the role
Requirements:
  1. A degree in Applied Social Studies/Social Care or relevant qualification, or eligible for registration
  2. Experience working with adults/children with intellectual disabilities
  3. The ability to work on own initiative and supervise service users/staff in a residential setting
  4. Good organisation and communication skills
  5. Full manual driving license
