Project Overview:

Simulation and Testing for Structural Mechanics

This role involves supporting CAE activities in the area of structural mechanics using industry-leading FEA tools together with hands-on material or product testing to validate models and build confidence in the results generated.

You will plan and execute within an ongoing project, interfacing with stakeholders to obtain necessary information to deliver a successful result for the project.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Perform simulations to develop critical insights regarding product performance.
  • Contribute to capability building by identifying potential areas and developing capabilities.
  • Ensure simulations meet regulatory requirements by adopting ASME V&V40 guidelines.
  • Liaison with team members as well as stakeholders to ensure smooth communication and maintaining timelines.
  • Extract and process test data/findings into both formal written and verbal reports which comply with FDA requirements and appropriate engineering standards.
