Risk Manager for Extended Workforce Solutions

This role focuses on managing risk and compliance within the Extended Workforce Solutions team. As a risk manager, you will be responsible for identifying and assessing risks associated with engaging a large extended workforce.
- Main Responsibilities:
- Support and mature risk and compliance programs and domains.
- Plan, design, and implement risk mitigation initiatives.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to improve process and controls to mitigate risks.
- Education:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience:
- 7 years of experience in program or project management with a proven track record of delivery in a risk or compliance domain.
- Experience in program/project management with contingent/extended workforce.
- Interpreting policies or providing advice on policy compliance.
The Extended Workforce Solutions (EWS) team is responsible for optimizing outsourced operations while reducing risks and driving efficiency through the enforcement of Google best practices and policies.
The Risk and Compliance (R&C) team ensures that Google complies with all laws and regulations applicable to its contingent workforce globally. The team identifies and assesses risks, sets requirements, designs and assesses controls, ensures governance, and conducts testing and auditing.
In this role, you will make substantial contributions to projects aimed at mitigating legal, reputational, and financial risks flowing from engaging a large extended workforce.
You will assess risk in commercial relationships across many jurisdictions and work with businesses and stakeholders to mitigate risk and develop a path to compliance.
