Marketing & Community Engagement Specialist

This is a fantastic opportunity to showcase your marketing expertise and contribute to the success of our business. As a Marketing & Community Engagement Specialist, you will be responsible for creating engaging content, managing social media platforms, and representing the business at community events.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in marketing, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to work under pressure. They will also be proactive, collaborative, and comfortable engaging with people in person or managing desk-based responsibilities.

">Key Responsibilities:">
  • ">
  • Digital Marketing & Content Creation: Create engaging content for all social media platforms, including TikTok (minimum twice weekly). Involving all departments.">
  • Respond to Comments & Reviews: Respond to all comments, reviews, and messages across social channels.">
  • Manage Google Ads & Website Content: Keep Google Business Profile up to date and manage Google Ads campaigns. Regularly update and manage website content and vehicle listings (Done Deal, Cars Ireland, dealership site).">
  • Design Marketing Materials: Design marketing materials including flyers, banners, and digital assets.">
  • CRM & Lead Management: Ensure all leads are properly captured in the CRM system. Monitor daily lead volume and quality to meet business targets.">
  • Branding & Promotional Activities: Coordinate branding for all dealership vehicles in advance (e.g., stickers, decals). Ensure dealership site is maintained to brand standards (flags, banners, signage, showroom).">
  • Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Host bi-monthly meetings with all departments to align marketing strategies and ensure equal exposure.">
  • Community Engagement & Local Promotion: Represent the dealership at community events and station displays. Build partnerships with local organizations to increase community presence.">

  • Relevant Qualification: Have a relevant 3rd level qualification.">
  • Marketing Experience: Have 3 to 5 years previous marketing experience, ideally in a busy motor dealership or fast-paced business.">
  • Interpersonal Skills: Proactive and confident in representing the business at community-based events, take a proactive approach to initiatives, and collaborate effectively within a team.">
  • Creative Thinking: Innovative and creative thinker.">
  • Organisational Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills.">
  • Prioritisation: Ability to prioritise competing demands.">
  • Work Under Pressure: Ability to work under pressure.">
  • Driving License: Have a valid, clean, and full Irish driving license.">
