Job Overview:

As a Senior Enhanced Nurse in our Intensive Care Unit, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional patient care in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Our team is dedicated to providing the highest level of nursing care to critically ill patients, and we are seeking a skilled and compassionate nurse to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide professional nursing skills in assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the nursing care for assigned patients.
  • Monitor and promote high standards of nursing care and documentation, as per hospital policy.
  • Demonstrate proficient specialist skills and knowledge in ICU clinical practice.
  • Work within professional guidelines as laid down by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland Code of Conduct for Nurses.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

* Minimum of 5 years Cardiothoracic or Surgical ICU experience
* Evidence of positive contribution to intensive care
* Preceptorship essential
* ACLS desirable
* NMBI Registered General Nurse Registration - Essential
* Bachelor of Science in Nursing - Essential
* Post Graduate Qualification in Critical Care - Desirable
