About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Automotive Mechanic to join our team. As an Automotive Mechanic, you will be responsible for performing repairs on standard transmission and automatic vehicles, as well as maintenance and repairs of all vehicles.

You will also carry out 8 weekly safety inspections on HGVs, diagnose and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical faults, and complete online daily timecards and service histories.

Additionally, you will be required to complete digital safety inspection sheets and PMI sheets, as well as CVRT and CVRT voluntary tests with a first-time pass rate.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform repairs on standard transmission and automatic vehicles.
  • Maintenance and repairs of all vehicles.
  • Carry out 8 weekly safety inspections on HGVs.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical faults.
  • Complete online daily timecards and service histories.
  • Complete digital safety inspection sheets and PMI sheets.
  • Complete CVRT and CVRT voluntary tests with a first-time pass rate.
Requirements:
  • Must meet local age and license requirements.
  • B License required – C license preferred.
  • Possesses complete set of hand tools.
  • Fleet diesel experience preferred.
  • QQI level 6 motor mechanics craft certificate or EU equivalent required.
