Network Infrastructure Specialist

- Administer, monitor, and maintain security software to control viruses, malware, and spam.
- Research and recommend methods for preventing and controlling viruses, malware, and spam.
- Monitor and maintain the virtual server environment.
- Provide support and recommendations for users of Microsoft Office and Office 365 applications and configurations.
- Enforce and recommend changes for policies and procedures related to the network infrastructure.
- Respond to incoming Help Desk support calls; assist store personnel experiencing difficulty with computer systems and hardware.
- Log all incoming Help Desk calls into the system.
- Provide education, training, and information to users regarding network usage, failure of equipment, and resetting operations.
- Identify source of error and configure, install, and repair computer network systems, hardware equipment, and peripheral devices.
- Install new software programs; upgrade existing programs; repair software problems.
- Resolves network problems through research, diagnosis, and consultation with colleagues and user manuals.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as upgrading software, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring efficient operations.
- Maintain accurate records of system activities, operations, modifications, maintenance, and other relevant information.
- Working knowledge of Networking Protocols, Windows 7 and up, Windows Server 2003 and up, Microsoft Office 2007 and up.
- Knowledge of network design, implementation, and troubleshooting.
- Experience with WAN and VOIP technologies.
- Personal computer repair skills.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
