Project Engineer Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing projects from conception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality results.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering, with experience in project controls and the full project lifecycle. They will possess excellent analytical and numerical skills, with the ability to work under tight deadlines.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Attend project handover meetings and develop QEHS documentation.
  • Conduct design reviews and value engineering exercises.
  • Assist in creating a Programme of Works and ensure project timelines are realistic.
  • Work closely with procurement managers to review and approve plant packages.
  • Coordinate mechanical services and builders' work drawings.
  • Oversee quality assurance management and document control.
  • Manage project variations and assist site management as necessary.
  • Support the development of Operation & Maintenance (O&M) manuals.
  • Commissioning support and adherence to standards.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or building services.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in mechanical engineering and design.
  • Proficient in CAD and BIM, with strong IT and communication skills.
  • Analytical abilities and project experience.
  • Motivated and dependable, with a strong work ethic.
