The company seeks a National Account Manager to develop and maintain strategic relationships with key customers in the FMCG industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving business growth, expanding distribution networks, and increasing sales volumes.
This role requires a proactive and ambitious individual who can effectively manage multiple stakeholders, negotiate commercial agreements, and ensure timely execution of sales activities.
The National Account Manager will work closely with the Commercial Manager and other cross-functional teams to achieve sales and brand strategy objectives. They will identify new business opportunities, develop category plans, and implement promotional activities that drive revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute joint annual business plans with customers
- Negotiate commercial agreements and track delivery of sales targets
- Identify and pursue new business and category opportunities
- Manage administration and operations within brand, commercial, legal, and financial guidelines
Requirements:
- Proven sales experience in FMCG working with top Irish multiple accounts or as an accomplished KAM/NAM in Convenience
- Excellent negotiation skills and ability to execute full life cycle of customer JBP
- Commercial acumen and analytical skills to ensure day-to-day accountability and influence of P&L drivers
- Strong team player with high levels of individual accountability and collective responsibility for achieving sustainable business-wide success
The ideal candidate will possess:
- 3rd-level degree
- Proven sales experience in FMCG or equivalent industry
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills
- Commercial acumen and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
