Foreign Tax Compliance Specialist

We are seeking a skilled professional to provide consultancy services for Foreign Account Tax Compliance Act (FATCA) and Common Reporting Standard (CRS) obligations. The consultant will work closely with internal teams and stakeholders to ensure client compliance with international tax regulations.
The role involves conducting first-line reviews of FATCA and CRS forms, drafting client risk assessments, memos, and exception reports. Additionally, the consultant will investigate trigger events and escalate where necessary, ensuring adherence to internal Anti-Money Laundering (AML) policies and procedures.
- Review FATCA/CRS forms to identify gaps and discrepancies
- Draft client risk assessments and memos to inform business decisions
- Investigate trigger events and escalate as required
- Ensure AML compliance by validating Tax Identification Numbers (TINs) and GIINs
- Update systems with FATCA/CRS data to maintain accurate records
This consultancy role requires a strong understanding of FATCA/CRS compliance in relation to AML/KYC and experience reviewing FATCA/CRS forms. Excellent analytical and organisational skills are essential, along with strong initiative, communication, and attention to detail.
