Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled High Voltage Transmission Specialist to join our team at WSP Global Inc.

This is an exciting opportunity to spearhead the growth of our business in Ireland, managing existing projects and securing new opportunities in the region.

As a High Voltage Transmission Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and enhancing relationships with Ireland's Electricity Network Operators, winning work, and working on bids and proposals.

You will also be responsible for project management and project delivery, ensuring the successful completion of projects within the assigned business.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and enhance relationships with Ireland's Electricity Network Operators
  • Win work and manage bids and proposals
  • Manage and deliver projects successfully

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent, experience in electrical design related to Ireland's electricity transmission system, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

You will also need to be capable of leading multi-disciplinary engineering teams, including HV cable networks, protection and control, substation primary design, civil engineering, and overhead line design.

In addition, you will need to have a proven track record in managing and delivering projects successfully, expertise in managing bids and writing proposals, and strong client interfacing skills to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
