About the Role
We are seeking an experienced engineering leader to join our team as the Director, Engineering. As a key member of the senior leadership team, you will be responsible for providing strategic leadership and direction to the Post Market and Manufacturing Engineering teams.
In this role, you will oversee the effective and efficient running of the department, ensuring resources and expertise are allocated to meet company goals and objectives. You will work closely with Research and Development onsite and globally to build and maintain strong links with the engineering community within Cook.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the Post Market and Manufacturing Engineering teams, directing and mentoring staff to achieve company goals and objectives.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve engineering processes and efficiency.
- Collaborate with Research and Development to ensure smooth transition of new products into manufacture.
- Work closely with Regulatory Affairs and Quality departments to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Review and approve clinical evaluation protocols and reports.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field required; advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum 12 years' relevant experience; 7 years management experience leading engineering professionals.
- Strong background in engineering, including product development and manufacturing processes.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
