Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Associate to join our Public, Regulatory and Investigations team. This is an exciting opportunity for a solicitor with strong general experience in litigation and professional regulatory or healthcare law to further their career in a Tier 1 ranked team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and preparing complaints for oral hearings, drafting legal documents, case management of disciplinary hearings, and providing regulatory advice. They will also have the opportunity to mentor and train junior lawyers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and prepare complaints for oral hearings before fitness to practise committees.
  • Draft legal documents, including notices of inquiry, special summonses, terms of undertakings, affidavits of service, etc.
  • Case manage disciplinary hearings and High Court confirmation applications.
  • Provide regulatory advice to protect the interests of the regulators represented.
  • Mentor and train junior lawyers, as appropriate.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 5 years' PQE in litigation and/or professional regulatory or healthcare law.
  • Strong general experience in litigation and professional regulatory or healthcare law.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
