As a strategic Facilities Manager, you will oversee the seamless operation of a high-availability site. You will be responsible for ensuring peak performance and compliance by managing M&E, fabric maintenance, security, cleaning, and vendor services.
The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in management roles within outsourced FM providers, with 10+ years of overall FM experience preferably in data centre, pharmaceutical, lab, or other critical environments.
Key responsibilities include:
- Operational Leadership
Oversee all aspects of site operations to ensure peak performance and compliance
Team & Vendor Management
Lead, develop, and motivate an on-site team of technicians and support staff
Manage third-party vendor performance and contracts
Client Partnership
Act as the primary point of contact for the client, ensuring high satisfaction through clear communication and service excellence
Compliance & Safety
Champion all health, safety, and environmental protocols to ensure a safe working environment
Commercial Acumen
Manage the operational budget, identify cost-saving opportunities, and support business development through extra work projects
The successful candidate will be a proven leader with excellent client-facing and team management skills. They will also have strong technical understanding of building services, including HVAC, electrical, and power systems. A degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related field is preferred, along with certifications such as CFM, IOSH/NEBOSH, or PMP.
