Financial Analysis Role Overview

About the Position

We are seeking an experienced professional to join our dynamic team as a Financial Analyst.

This role offers the opportunity to work with multinational clients across investment funds and financial services, taking ownership of key deliverables while contributing to the development of a growing team.

Main Responsibilities
  • Financial Statement Preparation:
  • Prepare and review financial statements for investment funds and financial services entities in line with US GAAP, IFRS, and local standards.
  • Client Support:
  • Manage end-to-end financial reporting for multinational clients, liaising with auditors, administrators, and investment managers.
  • Deliverables Management:
  • Take ownership of deliverables under tight deadlines, ensuring accuracy, quality, and timeliness.
  • Senior Support:
  • Support senior management and partners on ad hoc financial reporting and regulatory advisory projects.
  • Tech Query Resolution:
  • Research and resolve technical accounting queries, providing insight aligned with current standards.
  • Client Relationship Building:
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, anticipating needs and supporting future workloads.
  • Team Feedback:
  • Review and provide constructive feedback to team members, ensuring consistency and clarity across deliverables.
Requirements
  • Accounting Qualification: Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CPA, or equivalent).
  • Assistant Manager Potential: Recently/part qualified for Assistant Manager role.
  • Industry Experience: Experience in financial reporting and/or audit within investment funds, ideally gained in a leading professional services environment.
  • Technical Knowledge: Strong technical knowledge of IFRS and US GAAP, with sound professional judgment and a commercial mindset.
  • Attention to Detail: Demonstrated ability to produce and review high-quality financial statements with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Microsoft Office Skills: Confident user of Microsoft Office 365, particularly Excel, to support analysis and reporting.
  • Organisational Skills: Excellent organisational, time management, and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Team Player: A collaborative team player, proactive in mentoring others and eager to progress in a fast-paced, client-facing environment.
