Health and Wellbeing Specialist

Dawn Meats is a leading premium meat processor and supplier of choice for a range of leading supermarket, foodservice and restaurant businesses.

We are looking for a Health and Safety Manager to work as part of our Kilbeggan team and achieve overall Site & Group objectives/targets.

The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing safety manuals and guidelines, conducting site risk assessments and ensuring all Health & Safety related documentation is up-to-date.

• Preparing safety manuals and guidelines;
• Carrying out Health & Safety training for new employees;
• Updating & conducting site risk assessments;
• Collaborating with departmental heads in implementing any new Health & Safety processes;

The ideal candidate will have or demonstrate:

• Ideally 2 years' experience in a similar role;
• Level 6 QQI in Health and Safety Required;
• IT proficiency in Microsoft Office;
• Knowledge and compliance of H&S Legislation;
