Occupational Health Nurse Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing occupational health services to the staff, managing pre-employment medicals and checks, absence management and case management process, conducting ergonomic and other risk assessments, and enhancing OH related processes and services.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing the process around pre-employment medicals and checks.
  • Playing a lead role in the absence management and case management process.
  • Working closely with the Occupational Health team in the development and delivery of OH services.
  • Conducting ergonomic and other risk assessments as necessary.
  • Seeking opportunities to continuously enhance the OH related processes and services delivered.

Requirements:

  • Be a qualified RGN on the NMBI register.
  • Ideal qualifications include a relevant qualification in Occupational Health.
  • Ideal experience includes relevant experience in an Occupational Health role, including spirometry, audiometry, VDU and phlebotomy, absence case management.
