Job Title: Commercial Litigation Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Litigation Specialist to join our plaintiff litigation team.

  • The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of post-qualification experience in litigation, preferably with plaintiff personal injury experience.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a caseload of plaintiff personal injury matters, primarily focused on hearing loss (NIHL) claims. This will involve progressing files from instruction through to hearing, settlement, or conclusion.

  • The successful candidate will also be required to prepare legal documents, issue proceedings, and liaise with counsel and medical experts.
  • Strong file management and litigation skills are essential, as is the ability to provide strategic and practical legal advice to clients.
  • A confident team player with a client-focused mindset is required.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage a high-quality caseload of plaintiff personal injury matters
  • Progress files from instruction through to hearing, settlement, or conclusion
  • Prepare legal documents and issue proceedings
  • Liaise with counsel and medical experts
  • Provide strategic and practical legal advice to clients

Requirements:

  • 13 years PQE in litigation, preferably with plaintiff personal injury experience
  • Exposure to NIHL or industrial disease claims desirable
  • Strong file management and litigation skills
  • Excellent drafting and communication abilities
  • Detail-oriented, organised, and able to manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment
