Senior Accountant Position

We are seeking an accomplished Senior Accountant to take on a challenging role within our organisation. As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for reviewing financial statements and tax computations, managing a portfolio of clients, and preparing management accounts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Reviewing financial statements and tax computations
  • Management of a portfolio of accounts from sole traders to companies and partnerships
  • Assigning, reviewing, and leading a team of juniors
  • Preparation of monthly/quarterly management accounts for a portfolio of clients
  • Preparation of unaudited year-end statutory accounts
  • Assisting and advising clients on financial control systems

Requirements:

  • Qualified accountant with a certified public accounting certification (CPA) or Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) or Accounting Technicians Ireland (ACA)
  • At least 3 years' experience in an Irish practice firm
  • Strong attention to detail and technical knowledge
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Ability to successfully manage deadlines and teams
  • Commercial awareness and commitment to exceptional customer service
  • Willingness to learn and develop professionally
  • Passion for helping businesses achieve their potential
