We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Process Development Chemist to join our team at TN Ireland. This is an exciting opportunity for a talented chemist to take on a challenging role and make a significant impact on our business.

Job Description

The successful candidate will provide process chemistry support for existing and new processes, ensuring that our site's scientific, quality, and safety metrics are achieved. Key responsibilities include:

  1. Acquiring and maintaining a detailed knowledge of process chemistry and technical risk assessments.
  2. Leading or participating in technical risk assessments for plant changes and product introductions.
  3. Contributing to development initiatives to improve process understanding, control, capability, cycle time, yield, and efficiency.
  4. Coordinating input into the Technology Transfer process and preparing technical documentation to support manufacturing.
  5. Providing training to the Operations team and leading process changes.
  6. Carrying out investigations of quality and yield issues and liaising with customers.
  7. Supporting laboratory development projects and procurement cost reduction initiatives.
  8. Providing technical support for Capital engineering projects and submissions for regulatory requirements.

Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need a PhD in Organic Chemistry or a related area and ideally 3+ years of experience in process development, tech transfers, and NPI support. Experience in supporting API plant processes is beneficial.
