We are seeking an experienced Senior Process Safety Consultant to join our Ireland team, which serves both domestic and global Business Units across PM Group. The ideal candidate will have broad process design experience and enjoy working on projects with diverse hazard types.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide process safety support on projects, including multi-discipline engineering teams and standalone Process Safety consulting services.
  • Lead process safety activities during various design stages of projects, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to achieve project goals.
  • Act as a process safety focal point, communicating effectively with client representatives, equipment vendors, and engineering colleagues to address process safety concerns.
  • Deliver process safety deliverables, including PHA reports, Hazardous Area Classification, Explosion Protection Documents, Seveso Documentation, and Process Safety Calculations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Process/Chemical Engineering (or equivalent).
  • Chartered Engineer with relevant institute membership or working towards chartered status.
  • Minimum 15 years' relevant professional experience in a similar function, with over 20 years preferred.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Thorough knowledge of Irish and EU health & safety legislation, codes of practice, and standards.
