Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and skilled craftsman to join our team in building custom machinery and automation equipment.

This role requires hands-on experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work from detailed engineering drawings and schematics.

The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling mechanical and electromechanical components to precise engineering standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Interpret and work from engineering drawings, pneumatic schematics, and technical manuals.
  2. Assemble mechanical and electromechanical components using a variety of hand tools, power tools, and precision instruments.
  3. Operate manual workshop machinery such as lathes and milling machines.
  4. Measure, modify, and fit components to ensure alignment and correct operation.
  5. Conduct quality checks and self-inspections to maintain high workmanship standards.
  6. Support and mentor junior team members as required.
Requirements:
  1. Relevant technical qualification (Mechanical Fitting).
  2. Proven experience in assembling bespoke machinery or automated systems (2+ years).
  3. Hands-on experience in building and fitting electromechanical assemblies.
  4. Competence in assembling and troubleshooting pneumatic systems.
  5. Strong technical skills with the ability to read and interpret mechanical and pneumatic drawings and technical documentation.
  6. High attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety.
  7. Exhibit the ability to work independently with minimal supervision, displaying initiative, resourcefulness, and problem-solving skills in resolving technical issues and fulfilling job responsibilities.
  8. Fluent in English and demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with team members and customers to convey technical information, provide assistance, and build positive relationships.
