The role of Clinical Nurse Specialist, Oncology Liaison is a critical position within the hospital’s cancer services team. The successful applicant will join a dynamic team and contribute to providing exceptional care to patients with cancer.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert clinical guidance and support to patients, families, and healthcare teams in relation to cancer diagnosis, treatment, and palliative care.
  • Collaborate with consultant medical oncologists, haematologists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement best practices in oncology nursing.
  • Triage and manage referrals from inpatient and day wards, ensuring timely access to specialist care for patients with complex needs.

The ideal candidate will possess postgraduate qualification in Oncology Nursing, extensive experience in medical and/or surgical oncology nursing, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

The role offers opportunities for professional development, preceptorship, and teaching, as well as eligibility to work in Ireland.
