Job Opportunity

We are seeking a seasoned Hospitality Professional to take on the role of General Manager at our busy bar and venue in Dublin.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated individual with strong leadership skills to lead our team and drive business growth.

  • Support the smooth day-to-day operations of the venue, ensuring excellent service and high operational standards across all departments.
  • Lead and motivate a large team to deliver exceptional customer experiences and maintain the highest standards of hospitality.
  • Oversight of bar, floor, and event operations to ensure seamless guest experiences.
  • Assist with staff recruitment, training, rostering, and performance management.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, including licensing, health and safety, and hygiene.
  • Drive sales and profitability through effective cost control, stock management, and promotional initiatives.
  • Handle customer feedback and resolve issues professionally.
  • Deputise for the General Manager in their absence and take full responsibility for venue operations.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Previous management experience in a high-volume bar, venue, or hospitality environment.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills with a proven ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities.
  • A strong understanding of stock control, labour management, and profit and loss (P&L) concepts.
  • The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, late nights, and weekends as required.
