Project Manager Job Overview

The Project Manager will oversee the end-to-end delivery of water and wastewater projects, from design to completion. This role entails developing designs, drawings, reports, and technical calculations while ensuring compliance with project contracts, specifications, and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage project delivery, including budgeting and resource allocation
  • Liaise with clients, consultants, suppliers, and subcontractors
  • Prepare technical submissions, reports, and contract programs
  • Maintain health and safety compliance, including safety files and audits
  • Compile operation and maintenance manuals and ensure full project closure
Requirements:
  • 7+ years' experience in mechanical or electrical engineering, preferably in a project engineering role
  • Knowledge and experience of the water and wastewater industry
  • Working knowledge of AutoCAD and ability to update drawings for construction
  • Experience of managing contractors and subcontractors for project delivery
