Cell Culture Process Specialist Job

We are seeking an experienced Cell Culture Process Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will play a key part in the development and implementation of mammalian cell culture processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support commercial manufacturing by investigating process robustness and implementing improvements.
  • Scale up mammalian cell culture processes from bench and pilot scale to large-scale manufacturing facility.
  • Perform facility fits, mass balance generation, equipment sizing, and mitigation of operational challenges to ensure efficient technology transfer.
  • Provide strategic input into facility and equipment design.
  • Prepare and execute technology transfer protocols, supporting documentation, and design of experiments.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 3-6 years of experience in mammalian cell culture process development/late-stage characterisation and technical transfer/technical services.
  • Demonstrated history and knowledge of cell culture scale-up practices, technical transfer, facility fit, equipment sizing, and mass balance generation for clinical/commercial manufacture.
  • In-depth knowledge of process validation strategies, studies, and requirements.
  • Knowledge of cGMP regulatory requirements related to the design and control of drug substance processes.
Skills:
  • High technical capability, data interpretation, problem-solving, and technical learning.
  • Promotion of information sharing and excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Capability of working in a multi-disciplinary team environment.
  • Effective communication, planning, and organisation skills.
