Work Arrangement:
Permanent, full-time (37 hours per week) This is a fully onsite role.

The successful candidate will be part of a dynamic multidisciplinary team working together to deliver high-quality care to our patients.

Our hospital provides a comprehensive range of mental health services to adults with complex needs, including those with Alzheimer's disease, Parkinson's disease, and Huntington's disease.

Key Responsibilities:
Carry a clinical caseload appropriate to the post.

Be responsible for developing and implementing individualized treatment plans that align with best practice and meet the unique needs of each patient.

Be responsible for collaborating with clients, families, and other team members to establish goals and outcomes.
Communicate effectively with colleagues and develop strong working relationships.
Provide clear instructions, guidance, and support to patients, families, and carers.
Ensure accurate and timely documentation of patient records in accordance with professional standards and departmental policies.

Deliver services in various locations according to local policy and guidelines, ensuring efficient use of time and resources.

Participate in regular review meetings, case conferences, and ward rounds as needed.
Maintain high standards of work quality and contribute to quality assurance initiatives.
Seek advice from relevant professionals when necessary.
Maintain professional standards regarding confidentiality, ethics, and legislation.
Practice within the scope of Physiotherapy as per CORU requirements and local guidelines.
Sufficient knowledge in Ortho rehabilitation, Neuro rehabilitation, Cardiac rehabilitation.
Contribute to the development and improvement of Physiotherapy services by working collaboratively with colleagues.
Require experience working with older adults.

Essential Requirements:

Be registered (or in the process of registering) on the Physiotherapist register maintained by the Physiotherapists Registration Board at CORU.

Have two to three years full-time (or an aggregate of three years) post-qualification clinical experience.

Hold a degree in Physiotherapy or an equivalent qualification and be eligible for membership with the Irish Society of Chartered Physiotherapists.

Established clinical and management experience in Mental Health, Older Persons, Frail Elderly, and experience of associated medical conditions and/or palliative care.

Previous experience in mental health environment and working with Huntington's patients advantageous.
Good knowledge and experience of health, safety, and other statutory regulations affecting a healthcare organization.
Excellent people management experience and skills.
