Job Title: Tech Commercial Lead

We are seeking an experienced Tech Commercial Lead to drive new business, manage key accounts, and deliver technical & commercial proposals for our industrial damper solutions. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with our sales team, engineers, and management to deliver accurate and timely quotations, technical support, and exceptional customer satisfaction.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Developing new business opportunities through effective communication, planning, and delivering on agreed company objectives
  • Managing key accounts and providing detailed technical & commercial proposals for industrial damper solutions
  • Collaborating closely with our sales team, engineers, and management to deliver accurate and timely quotations, technical support, and ensure exceptional customer satisfaction
  • Utilizing problem-solving skills to understand customer requirements and provide technical expertise during the sales process

Required Qualifications and Skills:

  • Level 3 - Mechanical Engineering based qualification (ONC or above)
  • Experience working in a Technical Sales or similar customer-facing role
  • Technical expertise to interpret customer specifications and recommend suitable damper solutions
  • Estimating knowledge to collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to gather necessary information and understand, gather, and calculate project costs and lead times
  • Proposal writing to prepare detailed and accurate quotations based on customer specifications, project requirements, and cost estimations
  • Commercial acumen to review and negotiate terms and conditions
