The ideal candidate will have a strong background in psychological assessment, particularly in diagnosing Autism in Children. They will be able to administer standardized assessment tools and utilize clinical judgment to formulate accurate diagnoses.
Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments for children suspected of having Autism.
- Administer standardized assessment tools and utilize clinical judgment to formulate accurate diagnoses.
- Collaborate with other professionals, including speech-language pathologists and occupational therapists, to gather comprehensive information and provide holistic assessments.
- Provide feedback and individualized recommendations to families regarding assessment results and intervention strategies.
The ideal candidate will possess a Master's degree in Clinical/Educational Psychology recognized by the Psychological Society of Ireland (or equivalent). A minimum of 1 year post-qualification experience working with children is required. Senior Psychologist Level requires 5+ years post-qualification experience working with children. Accreditation with either PSI, BPS, or other recognized post-qualification accreditation is also necessary.
