We are looking for an experienced Clinical/Educational Psychologist to join our team at Excel Recruitment Healthcare. The successful candidate will have expertise in Autism assessment and a strong background in psychological evaluation.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in psychological assessment, particularly in diagnosing Autism in Children. They will be able to administer standardized assessment tools and utilize clinical judgment to formulate accurate diagnoses.

Responsibilities
  1. Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments for children suspected of having Autism.
  2. Administer standardized assessment tools and utilize clinical judgment to formulate accurate diagnoses.
  3. Collaborate with other professionals, including speech-language pathologists and occupational therapists, to gather comprehensive information and provide holistic assessments.
  4. Provide feedback and individualized recommendations to families regarding assessment results and intervention strategies.
Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess a Master's degree in Clinical/Educational Psychology recognized by the Psychological Society of Ireland (or equivalent). A minimum of 1 year post-qualification experience working with children is required. Senior Psychologist Level requires 5+ years post-qualification experience working with children. Accreditation with either PSI, BPS, or other recognized post-qualification accreditation is also necessary.
