About the Job
This position requires a highly skilled professional with a strong background in quality control and analytical testing. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a regulated environment, such as the pharmaceutical or medical device industry. They will be responsible for leading analytical testing activities across various departments, including EU release, commercial, stability, utilities, raw materials, and validation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Apply principles, concepts, theories, and standards of GMP QC analytical laboratories.
- Deepen technical knowledge through continuous learning and exposure.
- Stay up-to-date with related regulatory/industry considerations, compliance issues, and scientific discoveries.
- Plan and perform analyses efficiently and accurately.
- Develop and implement changes in controlled documents.
- Participate in audits, initiatives, and projects within the department or organization.
- Review protocols and perform assay validation and equipment qualification/verifications when required.
- Introduce new techniques to the lab, including method transfers, reports, validations, and protocols.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a science-related field is required.
- 4+ years of biopharmaceutical QC experience or related quality control or GMP laboratory experience in the pharmaceutical or medical device industry.
- Experience with regulatory compliance in cGMP manufacturing and testing of pharmaceutical products.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and deliver right-first-time results.
- Eligible working VISA in Ireland or European Union (EU) passport.
