Cpl Healthcare is seeking a highly skilled Senior Electrical Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our electrical engineering department, you will be responsible for designing, installing, and commissioning electrical systems in accordance with national and plant standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Electrical System Design: Develop and implement electrical system designs that meet or exceed industry standards, ensuring the reliability and robustness of our electrical infrastructure.
- Project Management: Lead and manage electrical projects from conception to completion, coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery and quality outcomes.
- Technical Leadership: Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and technicians, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
- Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure all electrical systems and installations comply with relevant regulations, such as ATEX and Machinery Directive, minimizing risk to people and assets.
- Maintenance and Upgrades: Oversee the maintenance and upgrading of electrical facilities systems, including lighting, UPS, and BMS systems, to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- BEng in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
- Proven experience in electrical circuit design, HV/LV design, and operational experience.
- Familiarity with planned preventative maintenance approaches and quality management systems.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
